To make the tea, grind 1 to 2 cloves put into water and boil, then simmer for 5 to 10 minutes, add honey etc, if needed or if you want you can add green tea to the mix and simmer for another 5 minutes. Can be inserted into the outer peel of oranges to make beautiful, aromatic pomades for Christmas decorations. Can be added to stewed apples, baked whole apples and apple pie. Flies do not like the aroma of cloves or lemons. If flies bother you outside or inside your building you can make a repellent mixture or try one at a time.
